This course syllabus is a general plan for the course; deviations announced to the class by the instructor may be necessary.

Week 1 (Aug. 21 & 23):  Introductory Material (eBook “Multimodal Synergy” (Chapter 45 —45b, 45c, and 45g), “Rhetorical Situations” (Chapter 15).  Complete the two Signed Student/Instructor Agreement forms that appear at the end of the syllabus.

Week 2 (Aug 28 & 30): Gottschall Ch. 1-5 (Blog)

Portfolio Due by Thursday, Dec. 13 at 11 am (the end of our Final Exam period)
